1. Agreement, scope and provider

This Software License Agreement applies when you download, install, copy, modify or use SitePublisher AI, or use an associated license key, update channel or support service. It should be read together with the General Terms and Conditions and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

The provider is:

SitePublisher AI is intended for business and professional use. “You” means the business, sole trader, professional or organisation using the software or purchasing the commercial entitlement.

2. License for the WordPress plugin code

Under the GPL, you may run, study, copy, modify and redistribute covered code subject to the conditions of that license, including its source-code and license-notice requirements when you distribute modified or unmodified copies.

Nothing in this agreement adds a restriction to rights that the GPL grants for covered code. The complete GPL terms control if any wording here conflicts with them. You can read the GNU GPL version 2 and WordPress’s guidance on including a software license.

3. What the commercial entitlement covers

The following are not automatically transferred merely because a copy of GPL-covered code is copied or redistributed:

• an official SitePublisher AI license key or customer account;
• access to private downloads, update servers or license-validation services;
• personal support or implementation assistance;
• the right to use SitePublisher AI names, logos or branding in a way that suggests an official product; or
• access to separately provided hosted services that may be introduced in the future.

4. Editions and activation scope

Free edition

The Free edition does not require a paid license key and provides the functionality identified as Free on the website. Its current workflow is designed for the WordPress website on which it is installed.

Pro editions

Unless the order page expressly states otherwise, each Annual Pro or Lifetime Pro purchase includes one official central SitePublisher AI activation at a time.

The activated central installation may connect and manage multiple destination WordPress websites. Those connected destinations do not count as additional central license activations.

You may not use one license key to maintain simultaneous official Pro entitlement on multiple central installations unless an additional license or multi-activation plan has been purchased.

5. Annual Pro entitlement

Annual Pro provides official Pro functionality, updates and included support during the paid annual term. The subscription renews as described at checkout and in the General Terms and Conditions unless cancelled before renewal.

If the annual entitlement expires, official Pro validation, new activations, updates, support and Pro-only connected services may stop. Customer data already stored in WordPress is not deliberately deleted solely because the annual entitlement expires.

6. Founders Lifetime entitlement

The Founders Lifetime license provides one official central Pro activation, Pro functionality and official product updates for the commercial lifetime of SitePublisher AI. Personal support is included for the first 12 months after purchase.

“Commercial lifetime” means the period during which SitePublisher AI is actively maintained and offered as a product by the provider. It does not mean the lifetime of the customer or provider and does not guarantee perpetual development, compatibility with future versions of WordPress or third-party services, or inclusion of a separately branded successor product.

A Lifetime license has no recurring renewal fee, but it remains subject to valid license verification, this agreement and the rules against misuse of official license services.

7. Moving an activation

You may move an official Pro activation from one central WordPress installation to a replacement installation by deactivating the previous installation first.

If the previous website is no longer accessible, contact support from the purchase email address. We may reset the activation after verifying the order and checking for abuse. Repeated or automated transfers intended to share one key between independent central installations are not permitted as part of the commercial service entitlement.

8. License keys and online services

A license key is a confidential access credential for official services. You must take reasonable steps to keep it private and may not sell, rent, publish or knowingly provide it to an unauthorised third party.

The official Pro distribution may contact sitepublisher.ai periodically to activate or validate a key, check entitlement and obtain update information. Validation may process limited license and installation information as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must not use stolen or fraudulently obtained keys, impersonate an entitled customer, overload or attack license and update infrastructure, or falsify requests to obtain paid services without entitlement. These service-security rules do not restrict your GPL rights to inspect or modify covered code.

9. Updates, compatibility and support

Official updates are provided for the period included in the purchased plan. Updates may contain security fixes, compatibility changes, improvements, changed interfaces or modified features.

You are responsible for maintaining backups and testing significant updates in an appropriate staging environment. We do not guarantee compatibility with every hosting configuration, plugin, theme, future WordPress version or third-party API.

Personal support covers reasonable assistance with installation, activation and reproducible SitePublisher AI issues during the included support term. It does not include custom development, content production, website administration, third-party fees or unrestricted access to customer systems unless separately agreed.

10. Third-party components and services

Bundled third-party code, libraries, data and assets remain subject to their identified licenses and notices. Where a third-party license grants additional rights, this agreement does not reduce them.

WordPress, OpenAI, hosting providers and other external services are not licensed by SitePublisher AI. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, fees and privacy practices. You are responsible for maintaining any required accounts and permissions.

11. Customer content, websites and credentials

This agreement does not transfer ownership of your websites, prompts, source material, generated articles, images, metadata or configuration to us.

You remain responsible for reviewing generated output, holding the necessary content rights, controlling publication and complying with the laws applicable to your websites and business.

Keep WordPress administrator credentials, Application Passwords and OpenAI API keys secure. Never send passwords or API keys by ordinary email. License expiry, suspension or revocation does not authorise us to remotely erase customer content stored in your WordPress installation.

12. Trademarks, branding and documentation

SitePublisher AI names, logos, visual identity and product branding are not licensed under the GPL merely because they appear alongside covered code. You may make truthful nominative references to compatibility or origin, but may not imply sponsorship, endorsement or official status for a modified or redistributed version.

If you distribute a materially modified version, you must distinguish it clearly from the official SitePublisher AI product and comply with applicable trademark law. Website copy, support materials and documentation remain protected except where a separate license expressly states otherwise.

13. Warranty and limitation of liability

GPL-covered code is provided without the warranties excluded by the GPL. Commercial services and any additional remedies are governed by the General Terms and Conditions and mandatory law.

SitePublisher AI assists a customer-controlled publishing workflow. It does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, AI accuracy, originality, search ranking, traffic, revenue or compatibility with every external service.

The liability limitations in the General Terms and Conditions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Expiry, suspension, termination and refunds

Official license entitlements may expire, be suspended or be revoked for non-payment, a full refund, a fraudulent chargeback, misuse of a license key, a material security threat or a material breach of the commercial terms.

After expiry or revocation, access to official activations, private downloads, updates, support and Pro license services may stop. A full refund also ends the associated subscription and commercial entitlement.

Any rights in GPL-covered code that you already lawfully received continue to be governed by the GPL. Expiry or revocation does not grant continued use of our license key, customer account, update infrastructure, support, trademarks or other commercial services.

15. Governing law, severability and changes

This agreement and related non-contractual obligations are governed by Spanish law. The competent courts of Spain have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a provision conflicts with an applicable open-source license for specific code, that open-source license controls for that code and the remaining provisions continue in effect.

We may update this agreement for future downloads or renewed commercial entitlements. Material changes affecting an active paid entitlement will be communicated with reasonable notice where practicable and will not retroactively remove rights already granted under the GPL.
