Review what will become the WordPress post
Open a completed item from the Article work queue. The publication panel appears only after a generated article has been loaded for human review.
Article and title
Read the full article and verify facts, structure, tone, keywords and links. The article title remains editable in the publication panel.

Inspect the plan before WordPress is changed
Selecting Save as draft or Publish now first builds a non-writing preview. This validates the destination and prepares an exact summary of the requested action.
Only the confirmation that follows can save the post, upload remote media or publish the article.
Destination and post status
The preview checks the selected website, article title, category and requested status: draft or publish.
Keyword-link summary
If keyword URLs are present, the confirmation reports how many primary and secondary keyword links will appear in the article body.
Number of planned writes
A post normally requires one write. A connected website can require two when its featured image must be uploaded before the article is written.
Explicit confirmation
The final question names the destination and action. Choose Cancel to return safely, or confirm to execute the displayed plan.

Save a draft or publish immediately
Both actions use the same reviewed result and the same preview-first safeguard. Choose the option that matches your editorial process.
Save as draft
Store the article as an unpublished WordPress draft for another review inside the destination website.

- Returns its post number and an Edit draft link
- Allows final WordPress editing before publication
- A later Publish now action updates this same post
Publish now
Make the reviewed article public on the selected WordPress website as soon as the confirmed request succeeds.
- Publishes the current reviewed article and category
- Attaches the prepared featured image when available
- Returns the final public URL with Copy URL and Open article
- Updates an existing saved draft instead of duplicating it
Publication destinations
The same review flow, adapted to each website
Local and connected publication share the same confirmation process, but the technical WordPress write is handled differently.
This website
Free and Pro can write directly into the WordPress installation where SitePublisher AI is active. No remote REST credential is required for this local destination.
Connected website
Pro sends the approved post through the authenticated WordPress REST API. The connection, credential and destination categories must still be valid.

A connected WordPress website normally uses a dedicated Application Password. Re-enter it in Website Settings if authentication can no longer be completed.

Know when WordPress receives one or two writes
An image selected from the SitePublisher AI website is already local there. A connected destination needs its own Media Library copy before it can use that image as the post thumbnail.
Use a valid, readable WordPress image attachment. Smaller optimized files are normally faster to transfer and easier for the destination to process.
Publishing to this website
The existing Media Library attachment is assigned directly as the featured image after the post has been saved.
Publishing to a connected website
SitePublisher AI uploads the image to the destination Media Library first and then sends its new media number with the article.
If WordPress cannot assign the image
The article may already be saved successfully. Read the returned notice and check the post on the destination before attempting any new publication.
Links and publication results
Complete the post without losing its history
Publication applies approved links, records the WordPress result and preserves the post number for later updates from the same loaded article.
Primary and secondary keywords
When optional keyword URLs were added to the brief, each matching keyword can be linked in ordinary article text at most once.
Approved internal links
Pro can also apply selected internal-link keywords. If a required keyword is absent from the article text, the preview stops so the copy can be corrected first.
Result and queue status
A successful write returns the destination, post number and edit or public URL. The Article work queue is then updated with the publication result.
After the confirmation
Use the returned WordPress result as the source of truth
Once WordPress has accepted a post write, avoid repeating the action without checking the destination. This prevents accidental duplicate articles.
Edit draft
- Check the returned post number and destination
- Open the WordPress draft for final changes
- Return to the same result to publish without duplication
Open article
- Copy or open the final public URL
- Verify the live layout, category, links and image
- Make later editorial changes in WordPress when required
Store in a gig
- Select a gig before Publish now when required
- Only a successful publication stores title and URL
- Drafts are not counted as client results
Troubleshooting
Check the destination before repeating a write
Publication errors are intentionally specific. Correct the named destination, category, credential, image or preview issue and then create a fresh preview.
The connected website rejects authentication
Open Website Settings, verify the WordPress username and enter the dedicated Application Password again. Then test the connection before publishing.
The selected category is unavailable
The category may have been removed or changed on the destination. Refresh its website data and select a currently available category.
The article changed after preview
This is a safety stop. Review the changed title, content, destination or image and request the publication action again to build a matching preview.
The article was saved but local status was not updated
Do not publish again immediately. Refresh the destination WordPress website first; the post may already exist even though the queue could not record it.

Publication answers
The preview-first workflow is designed to keep the user in control while preserving the identity of each WordPress post.
Does the publication preview change WordPress?
No. It performs zero writes. It validates and summarizes the plan; only your next explicit confirmation can save or publish the post.
Will Publish now duplicate a draft I already saved?
No, not when you continue from the same loaded queue result. SitePublisher AI retains the WordPress post number and updates that draft.
Can I edit the article after publication?
Yes. Open the published article in the destination WordPress website and edit it there. Changes made directly in WordPress are not automatically copied back into the original queue result.
Does a saved draft count as a client gig result?
No. In Pro, only a successful Publish now action stores the final title and public URL in the selected gig.
Where do I schedule an article for later?
Scheduling is a Pro Bulk Automation workflow. It is configured before the batch is approved and is explained separately in the Scheduling content guide.
